Precast Products

The precast concrete production company Peranco is present in the field of prefabricated concrete products and is a member of the Cyfield group since 2005. The production plant is housed in the Group’s facilities in Geri in an area of 20 hectars. The company operates according to the ISO9001:2008 Quality system and products are CE certified.

The company’s clientele consists of government agencies, construction contractors, building contractors and individuals. The company has privately owned vehicles for the direct transportation of products to its continuously expanding network of customers.

Perancos activities are divided into three main sections:

• The production of pavement slabs, cobbled, groubs and cement blocks,
• The production of cement pipes and sewer wells
• The production of handmade products such as wells for EAC and CYTA, sewage manhole cover plates, bases for road lighting columns and other specialized prefabricated constructions.

Factory for the production of pavement slabs/cobbled/groubs/cement blocks

The factory plant operated since 1998 was replaced with a new modern plant which is fully automated and consists of concrete mixers, production press, drying chambers, painting system and stacking system and packaging of products.

Factory for the production of cement pipes and sewer wells

The factory was erected in 2010 and is the newest and most modern in Cyprus. It has the ability to produce cement pipes with a diameter of 30 cm up to 150 cm The factory also produces pits for drainage and rainwater systems.

Handmade prefabricated products

This section deals mainly with the production of wells for CYTA, the EAC and all road facilities services, as well as with specialized constructions such as bases for road lighting columns, retaining walls and constructions for port protection. These wells are manufactured using the latest steel moulds, high quality concrete and construction steel.

Quality control of Concrete prefabricated products

All products produced in our plants of prefabricated concrete in Geri, pass through quality controls. More specifically, the Quality Control laboratory performs all tests according to European standards i.e. bending tests, resistance to indirect tensile tension, water absorption and resistance to wear.

The factory manufactures slabs which are used for the construction of pavements, combined with specially formed plates to help the movement of blinds.

Slab properties:

• Dimensions, 400 x 400 x 50 and 400 x 400 x 35
• Additional 5mmouter hard layer, various colors
• Water absorbency: Less than 6% (class 2B)
• Abrasion Resistance: Class 3H
• Drying in special chambers to avoid salts (efflorescence)
• Recyclable 100%

Kerb properties:

• Dimensions, 1000 x 305 x 150, 500 x 305 x 150, 500 x 150 x 150
• Extra 5mm outer hard layer
• Bending strength: Greater than 5MPa (class 2t)
• Water absorbency: Less than 6% (class 2B)
• Abrasion Resistance: Class 3H
• Drying in special chambers to avoid salts (efflorescence)
• Recyclable 100%

Pavement properties:

• Dimensions, 100 x 200 x 60, 100 x 200 x 80, 200 x 200 x 60 and 200 x 200 x 80
• Extra 5mm outer hard layer
• Characteristic resistance to indirect tensile adhesion voltage: 3.6MPa
• Water absorbency: Less than 6% (class 2B)
• Abrasion Resistance: Class 3H
• Drying in special chambers to avoid salts (efflorescence)
• Recyclable 100%
