Cyfield beton Ltd operates since 2002 and is a member of the CyfieldGroup. The company’s primary goal was to serve the needs for concrete for the group in matters of quality and quantity. Today the company serves in addition to the parent companies of the group, various private companies of large and small size. The company operates according to ISO 9001:2008 quality system.

The company’s factory is located in the industrial area of Geri and has a production capacity of around 60 cubic meters of concrete per hour. The company employs ten people in the factory as well as two people office staff. The factory has a well-equipped laboratory in which all quality inspections are carried out concerning the finished product and all related admixtures. It also has a fleet of trucks and machines that allows it to deliver concrete on time and in excellent quality throughout Nicosia and its surroundings. This fleet consists of two pumps and eight concrete mixers. The company has its own vehicle for the transportation of cement from Vasilikos cement factory to its premises.

Concrete for high rise buildings.

The construction of very high buildings has mobilized the construction industry to discover better ways of using concrete at a lower cost and with higher strength compared to metal beams. The use of concrete reduces labor costs, since the overall cost and handling for concrete is less than the use and processing of metal beams.

The concrete mix design produced by Cyfield Beton for high buildings, is a mixture between the self-compacting concrete (SCC) and conventional concrete, eliminating the separation of the mixture and increasing compression strength up to 68MPa .

Moreover, without the constraints of large metal internal beams, architects are more flexible to design buildings, with complex structures.

Cyfield Beton Ltd is currently equipped with special concrete pumps and machinery so that it can easily poor concrete in high buildings, up to 150 meters.
