The Cyfield group began operations in February 1990 with Cyfield Development Co Ltd a company specialising in land development. Today the Group consists of more than 15 companies with a turnover that is expected to exceed €100 million this year.

• Cyfield Development Co Ltd, the first and holding company of the Group was founded in February 1990 dealing with all aspects of land development. Very quickly it differentiated itself from the competition and rapidly expanded in Nicosia and later in Limassol.
• In 1996 in line with its vertical integration strategy Curio Trading Ltd, a company importing and marketing building materials and sanitary ware, was created. This company supplies the Group and other customers with rooftiles, parquet flooring, tiles and sanitary ware.
• In 1997 Cyfield Development Co Ltd expanded Greece creating Eurocyfield A.E. a development company of residential and commercial buildings in the Greater Athens area.
• In January 2002, with a decisive movement, the Group diversified into construction of utilities and public works with the purchase of the majority shareholding of NEMESIS Construction PLC, a company that was founded in 1974 and was floated in the Cyprus Stock exchange in December 2000.
• Nemesis Development Ltd was then created in 2002 as a development company of residential and commercial buildings of standard specifications.
• The course of enterprising growth is continued with the establishment of Cyfield-Nemesis partnership in 2002. The partnership was created in order to undertake and implement a big scale residential development project in the suburbs of Nicosia, under which Nemesis undertook the separation works of 500 plots and Cyfield undertook the design, construction and sale of luxurious residences in about 100 of these plots.
• Continuing its expansion into parallel sectors, Nemesis Beton Ltd was founded in 2002 in order to supply the Group and others with concrete and associated products.
• Following the same expansion path, Nemesis Asphalt Co Ltd was founded in 2003, which owns two asphalt production plants which supply the Group and others with asphalt and asphalt products. Today the company has evolved into an autonomous construction company which is specialised in road related public and private works.
• In 2004 the Group bought a quarry company Chr. Mylonas Quarry Mitsero Ltd together with the mining privilege in the region. There it established a latest technology production facility that ensures unhindered flow of materials.
• The materials are then transported and delivered to the companies of the Group and other customers using the delivery lorries Nemesis Transportation Co. Ltd which was established in 2005 to facilitate the fastly growing transportation needs of the Group.
• Also in 2005 NEMESIS Construction bought another company, Familia Ltd, renamed NEMESIS Prefcast Products Ltd. The company manufactures products cast from concrete such as pavement tiles, kerbs tiles, decorative paving stones and cement blocks.
• In 2006 NEMESIS Asphalt Petroleum Ltd was established in order to import and store in specially constructed tanks the raw asphalt (bitumen) which is the raw material used by Nemesis Asphalt Co Ltd.
• In March 2008 CYFIELD Development Co Ltd and NEMESIS Construction PLC agreed with MEDCON Construction Ltd to exchange shares in their affiliated quarry companies Chr. Mylonas Quarries (Mitsero) Ltd and Medcon Quarries Ltd in Limassol, with a view of increasing the Group’s market share of mining products, the expansion of the Group to Limassol and the synergies that are created from the collaboration with another important construction company such as MEDCON Construction Ltd. The crushing plant at Medcon Quarries Ltd will be upgraded with the installation of a new latest technology unit.
• Also in 2008 NEMESIS Asphalt Co Ltd with MEDCON Construction Ltd and KYTHROMAK (ASPHALTING) LTD formed a joint company named MEDCON-KYTHREOTIS-NEMESIS ASPHALT LTD that produces asphaltic concrete. Nemesis Asphalt Co Ltd will gain the advantage of the synergies that are created in the sector of asphalt production, increased market share as well as volume of work.
